Frequently Asked Questions

General Streaming Questions

How do I access the stream?

You'll receive a private link from the event organizer. Simply click the link, enter the access password (if required), and you'll be taken directly to the viewing portal. No downloads or special software needed — it works in any modern web browser on desktop, tablet, or phone.

How many people can watch the stream at once?

Our streaming infrastructure supports unlimited concurrent viewers. Whether you have 10 guests or 10,000, the stream quality remains consistent for everyone. We use enterprise-grade Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) to ensure smooth playback regardless of location.

Do we have a commonly connecting issue?

The most common issue is internet speed on the viewer's end. We recommend at least 5 Mbps download speed for HD viewing. If you experience buffering: (1) Refresh the page, (2) Close other tabs or streaming apps, (3) Switch to a wired connection if possible, (4) Try a different browser. Our Technical Support section on the portal page also provides real-time troubleshooting steps.

Can guests rewatch the event later?

Yes! All our packages include a digital recording of the full stream, delivered within 3 business days. Premium packages include same-day delivery. The recording can be shared via the same portal link, or we can provide a downloadable file. Extended archival hosting is available as an add-on ($50/year).

Is the stream private and secure?

Absolutely. Every event gets a unique, private URL that is not indexed by search engines. You can add password protection so only invited guests can access the stream. For corporate clients, we also offer encrypted streams and IP-restricted access for maximum security.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 2-4 weeks in advance to ensure availability, especially for weekend weddings and events during peak season (May-October). However, we can accommodate last-minute bookings when our schedule permits — just reach out and we'll do our best!

Common need-to-know questions

What equipment do I need to watch?

All you need is a device with a web browser and an internet connection. Our portal works on:

  • Desktop computers (Windows, Mac, Linux)
  • Laptops
  • Tablets (iPad, Android)
  • Smartphones (iPhone, Android)
  • Smart TVs (via browser or screen casting)

No special apps or plugins are required. We recommend using Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge for the best experience.

What internet speed do viewers need?

For the best viewing experience, we recommend:

  • Minimum: 3 Mbps download speed (standard definition)
  • Recommended: 5+ Mbps download speed (HD quality)
  • Optimal: 10+ Mbps download speed (Full HD, no buffering)

You can test your speed at speedtest.net.

What is the reliability of your connection?

We take reliability extremely seriously. Our setup includes:

  • Redundant internet: We bring our own dedicated mobile hotspot as a backup connection
  • Hardware redundancy: Backup encoders and cables on-site
  • CDN distribution: Enterprise-grade content delivery networks with 99.9% uptime
  • Local recording: Even if the stream drops momentarily, we always capture a full local recording

We also perform a venue site visit (when possible) to test WiFi and cellular coverage beforehand.

Can you stream to multiple platforms simultaneously?

Yes! Our Standard and Premium packages include multi-platform simulcasting. We can stream simultaneously to:

  • Our private branded portal
  • YouTube Live
  • Facebook Live
  • LinkedIn Live
  • Zoom/Teams (via RTMP)
  • Custom RTMP destinations
What happens if the venue has poor internet?

We've planned for this. Our approach includes:

  • Pre-event site survey to test available connections
  • Our own dedicated 4G/5G mobile hotspot as primary or backup
  • Bonded cellular technology for combining multiple connections
  • Adaptive bitrate encoding that adjusts quality to match available bandwidth

We always have a full local recording running as a safety net, so even in the worst case, you'll have the complete event captured.
